Brian C. Giese's Obituary
Racine – Brian C. Giese, 68, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Aurora Medical Center - Kenosha.
Brian was born in Racine on February 10, 1958, to the late Richard and Elizabeth (nee Wiseman) Giese. On February 12, 1989, he was united in marriage to Penny Pharr in Las Vegas, beginning a loving marriage that would span more than 37 years.
Brian worked as a Bookmobile Clerk for the City of Racine. Outside of work, Brian had many passions and hobbies that brought him joy throughout his life. He was an avid collector of world paper money and took great pride in his collection. He also dedicated his time to coaching with Special Olympics in Racine, a role that meant a great deal to him. Brian loved all of his dogs over the years and cherished the companionship they brought him. He especially enjoyed going on cruises, spending time up north in Wisconsin, and being out on the lake in his younger days. Above all else, Brian was a devoted husband and the best dad ever.
Brian will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Penny Giese; his daughter, Rachel Giese; and his beloved dog, Bamboo.
In addition to his parents, Brian was preceded in death by his sister, Maryalice Nelson; and his brother, Charles Giese.
Services for Brian are pending at this time. Private inurnment will take place at Mound Cemetery.
