Beverly Jean Funk's Obituary
Racine – Beverly J. Funk (nee: Londre), 80, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 21, 2016 with family at her side.
Beverly was born in Racine to the late Edward and Evelyn (nee: Despins) Londre on July 9, 1935. She was formerly married to Eugene D. Aul on July 10 1954. Together they had seven lovely daughters. Later in life, Beverly was united in marriage to Lawrence C. Funk on June 5, 1982 who preceded her in death on January 19, 1999.
Beverly was a faithful member at The Gospel Lighthouse Church. Her Christian faith was very important to her. She would often be found dancing, singing and praising to the Lord in worship. She was also active in Bible studies. Beverly worked as a waitress for many years. She enjoyed watching her favorite TV game shows and General Hospital (since it was in black and white). She also enjoyed fishing, camping and working on puzzles. But, the love of her life was her family, especially her daughters, grandchildren great grandchildren and family. They will all miss her deeply.
Beverly is survived by her daughters, Victoria (Rick) Worden, Robin Gensler, Susan Warner, Connie (John) Wisinski, Marilyn Brothen and her fiancé, (Daryl Jaquith), Melody (Keith) Epple and Gina (John) Conner; former husband, Eugene D. Aul; grandchildren, Renee, Shannon, Jamie, Carissa (Micah), Jessica (Nick), Jack, Candice (Adam), Stevie (Leesa), Elise (Tony), Eric, Emily, Brittney, Haley, Faith, Ty and J.J.; great grandchildren, Colby, Jacob, Adam, Cameron, Lucy, Mason, Avary, Tiana, Blake, Gaige, Parker, Harper, Paisley, Aaliyah, Avery, Ainsley, Taylor, Jackson and Kyler; two sisters and one brother, Sharon Huck, Jerry (Pat) Londre and Sandy (Dan) Muleski; sister-in-law, Arlene Londre; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Paul E. Brothen; five sisters, Dorothy (Howard) Woodward, Joyce Londre, Nancy (John) Paethe, Joann Johnson, Marilyn (Tom) Highman; 5 brothers, Edward, Robert (Lynn), Ronnie, Rick and Tommy Londre; brother-in-law, Louie Toutant; and David Woods (father of Jacob and Adam).
Relatives may meet with the immediate family at the Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday, February 27, 2016 for a private visitation from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM with a private, family celebration of life to follow at 11:00 AM.
