Audrey Lois Mattice's Obituary
Mount Pleasant - Audrey Lois Mattice, 89, passed away peacefully at her residence on January 14, 2021.
Audrey was born to the late George and Edith (Grill) Hiller in Michigan. She was united in marriage to William Mattice on April 12, 1949.
Audrey was a homemaker. She enjoyed shopping, cleaning and was an avid baker. Audrey was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved children and babysat her grandchildren, great grandchildren and even great- great grandchildren, as much as she could. Culvers was Audrey’s favorite place to eat and ate there almost every day. Above all, Audrey loved spending time with her family, especially all her grandchildren.
Audrey will be missed by her children: Lois (Jim) Beaulieu, Lorraine (Richard) Beaulieu, William P. Mattice and Betty (Ronald) Hewitt; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.
Audrey is preceded in death by her loving husband: William L. Mattice; son: Dennis Mattice; brother-in-law: Wayne (Kay) Mattice.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Wilson Funeral Home with a celebration of life to follow at 10:30 AM. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, only 50 people will be allowed to enter the funeral home at a time. Guests may be required to wait outside until others leave the funeral home. Anyone planning on attending Audrey’s visitation will also be required to wear a face covering/mask upon entering the funeral home along with following social distancing guidelines. Services will be recorded and posted at www.wilsonfuneralhomeinc.com. Audrey will be laid to rest next to her husband, William, at West Lawn Memorial Park.
