Anthony Wistert's Obituary
Mr. Wistert, 95, (Uncle Tony) passed away on Sunday morning, March 11, 2007 at Lincoln Village Convalescent Center. He was born in Kenosha on April 3, 1911 and lived most of his life in Racine. He was united in marriage to the former Janet H. (Tanta) Hall in Racine on May 24, 1941, she preceded him in death on May 21, 2006
He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was employed at Western Publishing Co, for 34 years retiring in 1976. He was a member of Olympia Brown Unitarian Universalist Church.
He is survived by his niece, Jane A. (Richard) Mares and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home 1212 Lathrop Ave., on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Tony Larsen officiating. Friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
