Annette O’Brien
RACINE – Annette (Roushia) O’Brien, age 50, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Annette was born to the late Roger Roushia and Donna Rice on April 15, 1964 in Racine, Wisconsin. She was united in marriage to Ronald James O’Brien on November 2, 1985 at Atonement Lutheran in Racine. She worked for Olympic Family Restaurant for twenty years, and was also the owner of Annetta’s Café for seven.
Annette was a strong, family orientated woman, taking time to teach others whatever life lessons she could to help them. Every year Annette would take a trip with her husband to someplace warm, including such places as Mexico and Jamaica. She enjoyed crocheting blankets and spending time in her limited edition 40th anniversary Mustang Convertible. She also loved dogs, especially her Chihuahuas: Cocoa, Felipe and Chico.
Surviving are her husband: Ronald James O’Brien; children: Robert O’Brien (Sophie), Adam (Ranjit) O’Brien and Felicia O’Brien; grandchildren: Danielle, Angelina, Renne and Liam; father: Lloyd Olson; sisters: Terry Lueckfeld, Barb Wimmler, Dorothy Rayfield and Karen Roushia; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A funeral service will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and again on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Memorials may be directed to the family.
