Ann enjoyed the AAUW book group. We loved it when she made her own childhood memory book when we read Love, Loss, and What I Wore by Ilene Beckerman. It was just delightful. She will be missed.

So many memories! Ann was a special lady and an awesome mother-in-law! She was always up for an adventure and created many of them. If someone said let's go golfing, play tennis, go sailing, swim in the ocean/quarry, etc - Ann would be the first one to say yes!
We shared the love of decorating for holidays together. Each holiday for many years there would be a package from Ann! From the time the girls were babies, there would be special holiday "treasures" for each of them and those continued through this year. We always kidded not to tell Ann your "theme" for anything because you would then receive many "treasures" of that theme! But you knew they were chosen with you in mind and that Ann knew that you "needed" it - that was her caring way.
Ann was also supportive especially during some difficult times. She would voice her opinion but did not force her opinion on you. She was put in some difficult situations, but she would not let that keep her from doing what she felt was right and what her heart was telling her to do.
You will be missed dearly - but we know that you are now reunited with so many you loved and the hugs will be endless. Blessings Ann.
Love,
Jan
Please accept our deepest sympathy. May those precious memories be foremost in your hearts and minds during this time of grief and pain.

I remember her loving kindness to me and my family, how she cared for my Dad in his long illness, how she send us Christmas cookies (that rarely made it to Christmas) for decades, her gentle, quiet strength.
