Ann Felton's Obituary
RACINE- Ann Felton went to be with God in Heaven on Monday, January 5, 2015. Ann was born to the late Michael and Julie Zenner on July 11, 1921.
Ann worked for Case South Works Shell Plant during World War II. She married her childhood sweetheart, Herman Lee, in 1943. Herman passed away in the military service in 1944. Ann married Anthony Felton in 1946. Anthony passed away in 1982.
Ann trained as a certified nurse’s aide, a profession she thoroughly enjoyed and retired from after ten years at High Ridge Health Care Center of Racine.
Ann is survived by her six beloved children: Ralph and Pat Felton of Brown Deer; Shirley and Richard Kolz of Waukesha; David and Mary Felton of New Berlin; Larry Felton of Racine (her care taker for the past seven years); Susan and Michael Alfieri of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and Janie and Michael Heffling of Johnston, Iowa. Ann is also survived by a dear sister-in-law, Shirley Zenner of Racine; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Ann also was preceded in death by her sisters, Clara Londo and Ruth Rykal, and her brother, Peter Zenner.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring Street, Racine, from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass at 11:00 AM. Father Terrance Huebner will be officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to Wheaton Franciscan Home Care and Hospice.
The Felton family extends their deepest felt appreciation to the emergency personnel, the aides, the nurses, and the social workers of the Wheaton Franciscan Home Care and Hospice who so professionally and compassionately served us in our time of need.
