Alvin Dahl's Obituary
Sturtevant - Mr. Alvin E. Dahl passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare - All Saints on Sunday, June 21, 2009.
Alvin Dahl was born in Saskatchewan, Canada to the late Alfred and Carrie (nee: Ebsen) Dahl on June 11, 1931. He lived in Racine for over 50 years. In Racine, he was united in marriage to Virginia L. Roethe on March 16, 1972.
Mr. Dahl served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was employed at J. I. Case Company for over 30 years before retiring. He was a farmer in Montana prior to moving to Racine. He loved farming and continued to do so part time thanks to his friends Tom, Bill and Tom Jr.
Alvin is survived by his wife, Virginia; his son, Roger (Christina); his grandson, Michael; one brother, Kermit (Margaret); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
According to Mr. Dahl's wishes, he will be cremated and inurned in Montana.
