Alice Ann Jansen's Obituary
Kenosha – Alice Ann Jansen, 78, passed away peacefully with her family at her side at Kenosha Memorial Hospital on August 30, 2015.
Alice was born in Kenosha to the late Benjamin and Agnes (DeVries) Bosman on January 27, 1937. She graduated from Bradford High School in 1954. On May 18, 1957, Alice was united in marriage to Peter Martin Jansen who preceded her in death on September 29, 2013. Alice worked as a bookkeeper from the time she graduated from high school until she retired in April, 2015.
Alice was an active and faithful member of Kenosha Christian Reformed Church. She took joy in helping those in need. She was especially passionate about the Kenosha INNS program, where she served as site manager with her husband for many years. She enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were a source of great joy for Alice. She cherished her friends and her church family.
Alice is greatly loved and will be missed by her children and grandchildren: Bradley and Sally Jansen, Brian and Janice Jansen (Leah, Benjamin, and Brock), Kathy Jansen-Buciuni and Giovanni Buciuni (Katrina), Kristy and Bill Widmar (Katlynn); and her great-grandsons, Brayden and Jaxson. Alice was preceded in death by her sister, Kathryn Wynstra.
Private services will be held on September 4, 2015 with interment being held at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to the Kenosha Christian Reformed Church - INNS Program. Condolences may be expressed at www.wilsonfuneralhomerracine.com.
