Racine - Mr. Alfred T. Turner, 87, passed away at the Becker Shoop Center on Sunday, May 27, 2007.
Alfred Turner was born in Arkansas to the late Theodore and Cora (nee: May) Turner on May 24, 1920. He lived in Racine for most of his life. In Racine, he was united in marriage to Ruth Jeanette Wahlen who preceded him in death on 1993.
Mr. Turner served in the United States Army as a Sergeant in Europe during World War II. He was employed at J.I Case Co. for 38 years retiring in 1978.
Pete is survived by two sons, Pete (Susan) Turner of Racine and Theodore (Cathy) Turner of Sturtevant; six grandchildren, Thomas Turner, Scott (Wendy) Turner, Marcy (Brian) Prochnow, Nash (Kim) Turner, Theodore (Jeanette) Turner Jr., and Kyle Turner; four great grandchildren, Bryanna Prochnow, Gracie Turner, Turner Prochnow, and Nash Turner Jr.; two brothers Jessie (Gladys) Turner and Bob (Judy) Turner; one brother-in-law and three sisters-in-law, Jim (Elaine) Zickus, Lorretta Wahlen, and Mary Wahlen all of Racine.
Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 7 pm. A private interment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 4 pm until service time.
