Alfred John Langdon III's Obituary
Alfred John Langdon III "Butch", 71, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. Butch was born in Racine on September 27, 1946, to Alfred J. Langdon Jr. & Luella Langdon (nee: Mentch).
Butch Graduated from Park High School and went on to enlist in the Army and serve in the Vietnam War, where he was honorably discharged on Nov 22, 1972. He was joined in marriage with Linda Legler on September 27, 1969, and had three sons. Butch was best known for his ownership of Butches Camper and Trailer where he was able to provide for his family while doing what he loved to do.
Butch is survived by his sons: Jeffery (Ashley) Langdon and James (Jaime) Langdon all of Racine; also surviving is two grandchildren: Emma E. Langdon and Averie J. Langdon; brothers: Dick (Lois) Langdon and Wayne Langdon; sisters: Pat (Darrell) Benning and Darlene Sorensen; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Butch is preceded in death by his wife Linda J. Langdon; son, Alfred John Langdon IV; sister, Carol Schneider; his Father, Alfred J Langdon Jr; Mother, Luella Langdon; and Grandparents: Alfred J. Langdon and Olive M. Wrixton.
A memorial service for Butch’s life will take place on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home (1212 Lathrop Avenue) with Colleen Vice officiating. A time of visitation will be on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials for funeral costs.
