Albert J. Kirschling's Obituary
RACINE – Albert (Bud) Joseph Kirschling, age 86, passed away at All Saints, Wheaton-Franciscan Hospital on Sunday, February 2, 2014. Albert was born on December 12, 1927 to Albert and Marie (nee: Ahles) Kirschling. Albert was a lifelong resident of Racine. Albert served in the Navy during World War II and in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Racine Unified School District in grounds maintenance until he retired in May of 1991. Albert was passionate about fishing. He also enjoyed gardening, bowling and watching sports. Surviving are Albert's significant other; Mavis Sanders, his children; Celeste (Greg) Sturicz, Albert (Suk) Kirschling, Scott (Kristin) Sanders, Jay Sanders and Jeri Sanders.
He is also survived by six grandchildren, and a sister, Beverly Gulan. Albert is further survived by other dear relatives and friends.
The family wishes to thank Wheaton-Franciscan Hospital and Hospice staff for their kind, compassionate care of Albert.
A private family service was held on Thursday, February 6, 2014.
Interment followed at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
