Agnes Ida Huebner's Obituary
Racine – Agnes Ida Huebner, 96, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Ascension All Saints in Racine.
Agnes was born on December 28, 1928, to the late Peter and Rose (nee Noworatzky) Schwoerer in St. Nazianz, Wisconsin. She was united in marriage to Karl Huebner Sr.
Agnes will be deeply missed by her children: Deacon Karl (Paula) Huebner Jr., Connie Haynes, Bonnie (Joseph) Galewski, Ronald (Chris) Huebner, Peggy Jordan, Pamela Huebner, and William (Maureen) Huebner; grandchildren: James Boehler, Lisa Klaus, Jill Zelko, Jean Hampshire, Jamie Holley, Stephanie Fagen, and Jessica Huebner; 11 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sister, Maggie Joyce; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Karl Huebner Sr.; son-in-law, David Haynes; six sisters and five brothers.
The family wishes to thank Compassus Hospice Care for the comfort they gave Agnes in her final days.
A time of visitation for Agnes will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a vigil service starting at 7:45 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at St. Edward’s Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Entombment with committal services will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery – Highway 32 in Racine.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to kindly make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
