My husband and I have been neighbors of Gil and Willene for over 15 years and have certainly missed them both. We will remember Gil taking the dog for a walk and getting the mail. He so enjoyed his grandchildren and his great grand children . They were great neighbors and we're very glad that we lived so close to them. Our deepest sympathy to all of the family. Keep all the good memories close to your heart.

Gil, you were a great guy to work for back in my teen years in the late 60's. Especially remember working on our cars in the evenings, when we weren't pumping gas. You had a great business on the corner of 21st and Lathrop. We have a ton of memories from those years. Met a lot of good friends! You'll always live on in our hearts....

I have so many memories of both Gil and wileen. They always welcomed us into their home and they were centered around their children. Gil was loving and very kind. Toward his final years, when he would see me, he would smile and say "you're the singer". There will always be a special song in my heart for Gil.
