Jeanie and I shared many exciting, adventurous, heartwarming times together since we were 9 years old. We enjoyed so many things together in 4-H and did get into a bit of trouble.. but Jeanie being the older girl always seemed to come up with a good excuse on why thing’s happened as they did.
I remember coming home from the movie The Birds and getting into her car and driving off only to see a police car with his red light on behind us
Jeanie stopped and when the officer approached the car she rolled down her window down and said we will have two malts and two hamburgers to go!! He smiled and simply said you forgot to turn on your headlights! Then said have a nice evening ladies.
We laughed all the way home!
She was so special to me and I will miss her beyond words. I will carry sweet memories of her close to my heart.
