Samuel Belo

October 18, 1927 - November 25, 2016

Samuel Belo, age 89, passed away peacefully and went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on November 25, 2016. Samuel was born on October 18, 1927 in Poland to the late Johann and Eva (nee: Weiss) Belo. In Racine, he was united in marriage to Ottillie Schirmer on December 8, 1956. Tillie preceded him in death on October 17, 2014. Samuel was a gear cutter for J.I. Case. He was a hard worker. He appreciated yard work, gardening and just being in the outdoors. Samuel enjoyed his time spent at Emerald Crest in Minnesota. But most importantly, he especially loved his children and grandchildren. Left to cherish Samuel’s memory are his children: Monica (Don) Webb, Anita (Dennis) Jacob, John Belo (Michelle); his grandchildren: Andrea (Tristan) Speaker, Daniel Jacob (Jenny), Nicole and Marissa Dunnier. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A celebration of Samuel’s life will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. A time of visitation will be held on November 30, 2016 from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.
