Angela Lynn Morales-Hejl

Racine – Angela “Angie” L. Morales-Hejl, 59, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare – All Saints on June 1, 2016. Angie was born in Racine to the late Matias and Barbara (nee: Grant) Morales on September 25, 1956. She graduated from J. I. Case High School, class of 1974. In Racine, she was united in marriage to Brian E. Hejl on September 4, 2010. Angie was employed for 23 years at Ametek. She then worked at J. I. Case Corp. and retired from Warehouse Specialties in September 2010. Angie was a member of the South Eastern Wisconsin Hog Racine, Chapter and the Pink Paddling Power Dragon Boat Team. She volunteered for the Livestrong Foundation at the YWCA. Angie enjoyed traveling including riding on the back of her husband’s motorcycle. She was a health and fitness enthusiast and an avid baker and cook. Angie was strong in faith, family and friends. She was all heart and very giving of herself. She would often give the food she made to the Rest Program. Angie is survived by her husband, Brian; step-daughter, Autumn; brother, Anthony “Tony” Morales; sister-in-law, Sandra (Domenic) Carbonara; brother-in-law, Bruce (Ruza) Hejl; nieces and nephews, Amelio, Aphasia, LaNae, Alicia, Tino, Anthony, Domenico, Cristina, Angelo, Michael, Antonio, Niko and Joseph; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joseph and Shirley Hejl; other relatives and all her sister friends who shared he journey with her. She was preceded in death by many aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial celebration of Angie’s life will take place at the Wilson Funeral Home on June 5, 2016 at 4:00 PM. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. A private inurnment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park at a later date.
