Dick was always so sweet! One of my favorite people, he always brought treats and during the holidays he brought flowers. He will truly be missed.
I knew Dick and Lois from going to the Ground Round. They would chat with my parents while I took a piano lesson next store. Both were extremely lovely people. It was difficult to think of Dick without Lois, so it is comforting to know they are reunited. My condolences to the family as you navigate this difficult time.
Best,

Thank you Mr. Meekma for always being good to me when I was a kid growing up on Meadow lane. You were always one of my positive role models I looked up to and you were always willing to listen and help me or anyone with anything! I remember always going down by your neighbors Lou's house to pet the collies Hobo and Lady. You always had something good to say and always had a positive personality! I'm sorry I was in love with your daughters when I was a little kid! they were all so beautiful and very nice. You did a spectacular job raising some of the nicest people I know. We always had so much fun in our neighborhood! Say Hi to my Dad when you see him in Heaven! Until we all meet again at the gates of paradise!
My wife and I lived at 1346 Meadowlane from 1972 to 1994. I knew Dickie for years. He had such a likeable personality. I once ask him to make a custom sheet metal vent for our house, no problem . Dick was a very talented person. I send our deepest sympathies to all his family.

Uncle Dick was a truly remarkable man. Strong, sweet, tough and kind...all in one lovable and wonderful package. For me, he represented well what Tom Brokaw coined "...the greatest generation". He had life's priorities straight, understood the importance of the virtues and fully lived the promise of value in hard work. A truly great man who will be sorely missed by all of his family and friends on this earth. The good news? He can finally give his beloved Lois a heavenly hug, once more! Billy Tulloch
