I was one of guys in Rich's basement playing sheepshead with him during our senior year at Park HS (1964-65), along with Dave Flannery and Dave Christman. I remember it fondly and enjoyed the few times I ran into Rich later in life.

My sincere condolences. Rich was a remarkable vice president of Care Properties Inc. and a dear friend. We will miss him.Tom and Connie Dremel.
Richard and I shared a lot of "history" over the last ten years. Our mutual interest in Genealogy was well known by several family members Bored silly by our intense conversations regarding our family history. A shared interest I'll always remember, of course I can refer to the volume's of printed material if I have any questions on the Mathiesen line. To say I'll miss our conversations or occasional breakfast get togethers would be an understatement.
My condolences to Martin & June and families. I know you'll miss your big brother. I know I'll miss my second cousin, Richard. Now, after all these years, pain free. RIP.....
Sad to hear of Rich's passing. We were good friends during our Jr High years and were confirmed at Our Saviors together. I visited Rich at Ridgewood and could see the pain he was in. My heart goes out to his family.
