My heartbroke to hear of the passing, sweet Maria. I worked in the mid '90 with her at Atonement Lutheran Daycare in age 3 year old room with Geri. Being a teacher was a gift to her maybe because her girls were the center of her world. She always had that loving, caring & natural want to have fun. This of course, is what gave her the smile we all will remember in our hearts & minds. Girls, I am so happy she got to see some of her grandbabies- now she can be with all of you as your guardian angel thru everything you do. Maria- you are loved & you with truely be missed.
I would like to begin by offering my deepest condolences to the Flores family for their loss.
Chayo was an awesome person. She was kind, lovable, caring and always willing to help someone in need. What stands out most was how much she loved her 3 beautiful daughters and the way she adored her grandchildren.
I had the pleasure of being friends with her since grade school (50 years). She was like a sister to me. When I moved across the country we did not let that come between us. We wrote letters to each other and had countless phone calls and more recently text messaged. I looked forward to visiting with her when I'd come to Racine and was honored to have her come to California to visit me last year.
I am grateful for the laughs the memories and even the tears we shed together. I will cherish those times forever. I thank God for putting her in my life.
This is not goodbye it's just a see you later my dear friend.

Words cannot express our saddness with losing sweet Tia Chayo. Angel and I both have so many memories of you that we will cherish forever. We were so BLESSED to have you watch our youngest Angelo for us, and we'll make sure he grows up to remember how much you loved him. The Sunday that you passed away Angelo carried around his Curious George that you got for him, he even slept with it. I'm glad that you were able to celebrate his 4th birthday with us, little did I know it'd be the last time we'd get to see your smiling face and feel your warm hug. Juan will miss you too Tia, I don't know how you got him to open up, smile and talk but you did. You truly were a Saint to us. I'll miss getting texts messages from you telling me "Drive safe to work Mia, have a good day. Love you" or sending pictures of your grandbabies that you loved so dearly. Although our hearts are so broken and we are so sad, I take comfort in knowing you are now an Angel in heaven just as you were here with us. I love you forever and always Tia. Sana, Jessica, and Maddy we love you, and we're here if you need anything. Prayers to the entire family.

Chaio was always the sweetest person with a friendly smile, greeting and loving hug. I always appreciated running into her and catching up. I will miss her smile and warm personality. Rest In Peace my dear friend.
My Tia will forever be missed, she was there when I gave birth to my children, she helped me get dressed on my wedding day. And When I bought my house she was so happy for me. She would tell me how she rushed to the hospital when I was born.
I love you, my heart will never be the same, Maria leaves behind her one and only sister, if you seen my Aunt you will see my mom 2 peas in a pod.
