"Daddy George" was the best step-dad a kid could hope for. He was one of the few constants in my life, and I will always love him.
I loved Uncle George’s sense of humor! He always had a smile on his face and a big hug for me every time I saw him.
He came out to Arizona to surprise his brother Bob for a 70th birthday celebration at our home. He danced the night away on a small dance floor - to the point we were all worried he was going to have a heart attack! It was the last time all the siblings - my dad, Jim, Marguerite and George were all together. That was in 1993.
