She was always really nice to me and she was always nice to everyone.
Elsie or Mousie, as we knew her, was my cousin on my mothers side of the Kohn family.I remember she was always together with Doyle, every time they came to visit .
My mother (her aunt ) spoke so highly of her brother Ted , who was Elsie's dad and died before she was born.
They said he could fix anything on a car.
That he even built one from scratch
I remember the picnics ,pies ,card games and visits with the Kohn side of the family...the laughter: the stories about when they had to go to school in a sleigh pulled by horses because of the snow ....... That her father Ted had to sing along with another brother Ray at family weddings and of course in a Lutheran Church.
